30978 Product Information Inquiry, Product Display

 

PURPOSE

 

The product information inquiry program is used to display product, inventory and supplier descriptions, costs and prices. For accessing the program and selection criteria see 30976 - PRODUCT INFORMATION INQUIRY, SELECTION. For display options see 30977 - PRODUCT INFORMATION INQUIRY DISPLAY OPTIONS.

 

 

PROCEDURE

 

Once you have located the product you are looking for simply type its line number at the prompt and press [F5]. You are taken to the product maintenance master screen 4 of the selected product.

[Enter] to clear display.

 

[F3] to return to list of individual products.

 

You can then select another product to view or return to the selection criteria screen from the list of products by pressing [F4].

 

 

[F4] to exit inquiry.

 

You are returned to program from which you entered the inquiry with the displayed product's product code and description inserted in the product field. If you ran the inquiry from the menu, you are returned to the menu.

 


[F5] to display product prices.

[F10] to access maintnenance master screen 3.

 

[F11] to access maintnenance master screen 4.

 

[F12] to access maintenance master screen 5.

 

"P""D" to display product stocking information.

"L""D" to dDisplay product inquiry by length.

This option is applicable to lumber products only.
