31621 Quotation Report/Purge

 

PURPOSE

 

The order/quotation report/purge program prints outstanding and expired quotations. The program also has the option to purge expired quotations. The program is used for both order and quotation reports.

 

Order/Quotation Report is accessed from:

  • Sales Processing menu.

 

PROCEDURE

 

Select Order/Quotation Report from the Sales Processing menu. The following prompts display.

 

** ENTER STORE CODE:

 

Enter store code.

 

In a single store environment this field defaults to the usual store.

 

 

[F5] to display list for selection.

 

** CURRENT, HISTORY OR BOTH? (C/H/B):

 

"C" for current orders/quotations.

 

"H" for history (updated) order/quotations.

 

"B" for both types of orders/quotations.

 

** QUOTES OR ORDERS? (Q/O):

 

"Q" for quotations.

 

"O" for orders.

 

** SHOW ORDER STATUS? (Y/N):

 

"Y" to show status of orders/quotations.

 

"N" to not show status of orders/quotations.

 

** SEQUENCE (1=CUSTOMER/EXPIRY, 2=CUSTOMER/QUOTE, 3=QUOTE):

 

"1" to sequence by customer and expiry date.

 

"2" to sequence by customer and order/quotation number.

 

"3" to sequence by order/quotation number.


** STARTING ORDER/QUOTE# (CR FOR FIRST):

 

Enter starting quotation/order.

 

[Enter] for first quotation/order in system.

 

** ENDING ORDER/QUOTE# (CR FOR LAST):

 

Enter ending quotation/order.

 

[Enter] for last quotation/order in system.

 

** PRINT FOR WHICH SALESMAN? (CR=ALL):

 

Enter salesman/operator code.

 

[Enter] for all salesmen.

 

[F5] to display salesman/operator codes list for selection.

 

If you selected ORDERS above the following prompt appears:

 

ORDER REPORT OPTIONS:

( 2)  SELECT ORDERS WITH LINES WHICH HAVE BEEN PRINTED MORE THAN ONCE
( 3)  SELECT ORDERS WHICH HAVE FINANCE PAYMENTS
( 4)  SELECT ORDERS WITH TRANSFER REQUEST LINES
( 5)  SELECT ORDERS SHIPPED FROM OTHER LOCATIONS
( 6)  SELECT ORDERS WITH LINES PRINTED ON OR BEFORE A GIVEN DATE
( 7)  SELECT ORDERS WITH ZERO DOLLAR LINES
( 8)  SELECT ORDERS FOR SALES PERIOD (YYYYMM)
( 9)  SELECT ORDERS LINKED TO P/Os BEFORE A GIVEN DATE
** ENTER ORDER REPORT OPTION (ENTER=NONE):

 

Enter desired option.

 

[Enter] for all orders.

 

** CONFIRMATION STATUS (Y/N/CR=BOTH):

 

Applicable to quotation report only.

 

"Y" to include confirmed quotations only.

 

"N" to include unconfirmed quotations only.

 

"B" to include both types.

 

** PRINT QUOTES EXPIRING BEFORE WHAT DATE? (F2=ALL):

 

Applicable to quotation report only.

 

Enter date in format MMDDYYYY.

 

[F2] for all dates.

 

** PURGE 'CURRENT' EXPIRED QUOTES OR MOVE TO HISTORY? (P/M/CR=NEITHER):

 

Applicable to quotation report only.

 

[Enter] to not purge or move.


"P" to purge current expired date quotations.

 

"M" to move current expired date quotations to history.

 

** REMOVE CONTRACT PRICING FOR ABOVE 'TO PURGE/MOVE' EXPIRED QUOTES? (Y/N):

 

Applicable to quotation report only.

 

"Y" to remove contract pricing for purged/moved expired quotes.

 

"N" to not remove contract pricing for purged/moved expired quotes.

 

** PURGE 'HISTORY' QUOTES EXPIRED OVER 12 MONTHS AGO? (Y/N):

 

Applicable to quotation report only.

 

"Y" to purge history quotes expired more than 12 months.

 

"N" to not purge history quotes expired more than 12 months.

 

** REMOVE CONTRACT PRICING FOR ABOVE 'TO PURGE' HISTORY QUOTES? (Y/N):

 

Applicable to quotation report only.

 

"Y" to remove contract pricing for purged history quotes.

 

"N" to not remove contract pricing for purged history quotes.
