IY4-13 I/Y MAINTENANCE
31021 Product Security Tag Maintenance

 

PURPOSE

 

The product security tag maintenance program enables you to add or modify the security tag setting assigned to products.

 

Product Security Tag Maintenance is accessed from:

  • Inventory Product Maintenance menu

 

PROCEDURE

 

From the Inventory Product Maintenance menu select Quick Security Tag Maintenance. The Security Tag Maintenance screen displays.

Enter product code to access.

 

[F2] to display next product.

 

[F3] is currently disabled.

 

[F4] to exit to menu.

 

[F5] to access product inquiry.

 

WORD + [F5] to access product inquiry by key word.

 

GROUP + [F6] to access group inquiry.


[F11] to access product maintenance options.

When you enter a product code the system displays its security tag type and prompts you to modify it. The default tag is NONE.

 

** 'M' TO MODIFY; CR TO CONTINUE:

 

[Enter] to bypass and return to PRODUCT CODE field.

 

"M" yo modify security tag type.

 

ENTER SECURITY TAG TYPE (H=HARD,S=SOFT,O=OTHER,N=NONE).

 

Enter security tag type required for product.

** OK TO UPDATE? (CR=UPDATE; F2=MODIFY; F4=BYPASS):

 

[Enter] to accept changes and update file.

 

[F2] to make further changes.

 

The cursor returns to the previous prompt.

 

[F4] to cancel changes and return to PRODUCT CODE field.

IdealWare currently recognizes the following security tag types: H = Hard, S = Soft, O = Other, N = None.
