31013 Product Maintenance, Access

 

PURPOSE

 

The product and inventory maintenance program is used to display existing products, and to add, delete or modify products, costs and prices.

 

Inventory Maintenance Options are accessed from:

  • Inventory Product Maintenance menu.
  • Purchase Order Maintenance menu.

 

PROCEDURE

 

When you select Product and Inventory from the Inventory Product Maintenance Menu, the PRODUCT MAINTENANCE MASTER, screen 1, displays. The cursor is positioned in the PRODUCT CODE field where you enter the code of the product to process or display.

Enter PRODUCT CODE of product to process or display.

 

[F1] to display product list by PRODUCT CODE for selection.

 

Type a number and press [F1] to begin the list at the number entered.

 

 

[F2] to display ast product accessed.

 

[F4] to exit to menu.


[F5] to display PRODUCT INFORMATION INQUIRY menu.

WORD+[F5] to display product list by KEY WORD for selection.

 

Type a key word to search by then press [F5].

 

 

[F8],[F9],[F10],[F11], or [F12] to display maintenance screens.

 

When moving to a new screen you have the option of entering a different product code. Each screen is described in detail in 31017 - DISPLAY & ENTRY SCREEN FIELDS section of the manual. When you enter an existing product code the program then displays all of the available information pertaining to that product.
