31007 Flyer Event Control

 

PURPOSE

 

The flyer event control program enables you to turn flyers on and off. Two flyers can be turned on at the same time by having the INSTORE flyer (contract code 0000) turned on as well as another flyer event.

 

Flyer Event Control is accessed from:

  • Contract System menu.

 

PROCEDURE

 

Select Flyer Event Control from the Contract System menu. The Flyer Event Control screen displays.

Enter number of flyer to access.

 

[F2] to scan existing flyers for selection.

 

[F4] to exit to menu.

 

[F5] to display contract list for selection.

 

[F12] to display product maintenance options.

"1" to access product maintenance screen 1.

"3" to access product price file maintenance screen.

 

4 Product Location Maint

 

"4" to access inventory location maintenance screen.

 

5 Security Tag Maint

 

"5" to access product security tag maintenance screen.

 

F4 To End

 

[F4] to return to data entry screen.

 

When you select a flyer, the system displays information in the data fields.

[Enter] to re-enter flyer number.

 

"S" to change status of flyer.

 

If the flyer is off, this option will turn it on; if the flyer is off, this option will turn on.

"Y" to change status.

 

"N" to not change status.

 

[F4] to cancel and return to FLYER NUMBER field.

 

"R" to reset flyer.

 

If you have made modifications to the flyer pricing while the flyer status is set to ON, you should then reset the flyer. Resetting the flyer will ensure that all pricing modifications take effect.
