31353 Earnings Report

 

PURPOSE

 

The earnings report prints a listing of all employee earnings by department and company. It is typically run as part of your month end routine to prepare withholding tax remittance. The earnings report is also accessed from the batch processing options of the payroll by batch program. See 46733 PAYROLL REPORTS.

 

Payroll Earnings Report is accessed from:

  • Main Payroll menu.
  • Payroll by Batch program, Batch Options menu.

 

PROCEDURE

 

Select Payroll Earnings Report from the Main Payroll menu or the Batch Options menu from the Payroll by Batch program. The following prompts display.

 

** USE MONTHLY OR HISTORY PAYROLL HOLDING FILE ? (M/H):

 

"M" to use the monthly payroll file.

 

"H" to use the history payroll file.

 

[F4] to exit to menu.

 

** STARTING DATE:  11302007

 

This date should be the first day of the first pay period to include in the report.

 

 

Enter the desired starting date in the format MMDDYYYY.

 

[Enter] to accept the current system date.

 

[F3] to return to the previous field.

 

[F4] to exit to menu.

 

** ENDING DATE:    11302007

 

This date should be the last day of the last pay period to include in the report.

 

 

Enter the desired starting date in the format MMDDYYYY.

 

[Enter] to accept the current system date.

 

[F3] to return to the previous field.

 

[F4] to exit to menu.


** 1=HISTORICAL DIVISION/DEPARTMENT, 2=CURRENT DIVISION/DEPARTMENT: 1

 

[Enter] to accept the default "1".

 

"1" for historical.

 

The report will be based on the division/department assigned to the employee when each payroll was processed.

 

 

"2" for current.

 

The report will be based on the division/department assigned to the employee currently.

 

 

[F3] to return to the previous field.

 

[F4] to exit to menu.

 

** PRESS ENTER TO CONTINUE:

 

[Enter] to proceed to print selection menu.

 

[F3] to return to the previous field.

 

[F4] to exit to menu.

"1" to change printers.

 

"2" to change the CPI and/or print density.

 

[Enter] to print.

 

[F4] to not print and exit to the menu.

 

[F5] to display a list of printers for selection.
