25667 Customer Master Mailing Lists

 

PURPOSE

 

The customer master mailing lists program prints customer names and addresses in the required format to print mailing labels. The label forms required are 2 5/8 inches wide by 1 inch deep, 3 labels across the page on pages that are 8 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches long. This is a standard label size and is readily available in most office supply stores. The forms can be tractor feed forms or sheet forms for laser printers. The program can also be configured to print to 3 inch by 1 inch by one across tractor feed rolls. If you want to use "one-up" rolls please contact Ideal.

 

Customer Master Mailing Lists is accessed from:

  • A/R Main menu

 

PROCEDURE

 

When you select Customer Master Mailing Lists from the A/R Main menu the following prompts display.

 

** ENTER SYSTEM (A/R,A/P):

 

"A""/""R" to print customer names and addresses.

 

"A""/""P" to print supplier names and addresses.

 

[Enter] to accept the default "A/R". 

 

** ENTER 'A' FOR ALPHA OR 'N' FOR NUMERIC SEQUENCE:

 

"A" to print in alpha code sequence.

 

"N" to print in numeric code sequence (if available).

 

** ENTER 'R' FOR RANGE OR 'S' FOR SPECIFIC:

 

"R" to select a range of customers or suppliers.

 

The following prompts will display to allow you to set the range to print.

 

 

** STARTING CODE (PRESS CR FOR FIRST):

 

Enter the starting alpha or numeric code.

 

[Enter] for the first code.

 

** ENDING CODE (PRESS CR FOR LAST):

 

Enter the ending alpha or numeric code.

 

[Enter] for the last code.


** ENTER STORE (CR FOR ALL):

 

Enter the desired store code.

 

If a store code is specified, only customers that reference that store code will be printed.

 

 

[Enter] fo all stores.

 

"S" to select individual customers or suppliers.

 

SPECIFIC CUSTOMER/SUPPLIER CODE(S):

 

Enter each desired customer or supplier code.

 

After entering each code press [Enter] to confirm the selection. The selected codes will be displayed as selected. To remove a code from the list, enter the code and press [Enter] again.

 

 

** NUMBER OF COPIES:

 

Enter the number of label copies required.

 

This will print a complete run of the labels as many times as specified.

 

 

[Enter] for 1.

 

** PROCEED TO PRINT LABELS? (Y/N):

 

"Y" to continue to the print selection menu

 

"N" to not print the labels and exit the program.

"1" to change printers.

 

"2" to change the CPI and/or print density.

 

[Enter] to print.

 

[F4] to not print and exit to the menu.

 

[F5] to display a list of printers for selection.


The following prompt appears after the labels have been printed.

 

** ARE LABELS PRINTED OK? (Y/N):

 

"Y" to indicate the labels printed OK and exit the program.

 

"N" to indicate the labels did not print OK.

 

The most common problem is a paper jam or an insufficient number of forms. The print selection menu opens and you can reprint the labels after correcting the problem.
