GS3-02 Batch Options

PURPOSE

This article explains the Batch Options available when you finish entering data in a new batch or access an existing open batch.

PROCEDURE

Terminal Dependent Batches

When you have completed data entry in a terminal dependent batch (A/R and A/P modules only) you are taken to the print menu where you may print the batch registers.

See 29091 REGISTER PRINTING.

After printing the registers the Batch Options prompt is displayed. If you do not print the registers the Batch Options are not available.

** ENTER OPTION.....   REPRINT; MORE INPUT; UPDATE; ABORT; END:

"R" to reprint the batch registers.

See 29091 REGISTER PRINTING.

"M" to enter additional data into the batch.

See 29090 DATA ENTRY.

"U" to update the batch.

See 29092 UPDATING.

"A" to abort the batch; this purges the batch from the system.

All data and header information is lost and the batch number is unavailable for reuse.

"E" to exit to the menu; the batch remains in open status.
