TB5-33 Working Lawyer Summary

 

PURPOSE

 

The working lawyer summary program prints a report of billable and non-billable hours, fees, disbursements, payments, and A/R bad debts and writeoffs for any lawyer or range of lawyers. You may include month to date, year to date and/or project to date totals. You may specify any custom report that has been defined in the custom report definition maintenance program for your system.

 

Working Lawyer Summary is accessed from:

  • Time Billing Reports menu.

 

PROCEDURE

 

Select Working Lawyer Summary from the Time Billing Reports menu. The following prompts display.

 

** ENTER THE REPORT CODE:

 

Enter report code of custom report to use.

 

[F4] to exit to menu.

 

[F5] to display list of custom reports and descriptions for selection.

 

** INCLUDE MONTH TO DATE TOTALS ? (Y/N): Y

 

[Enter] to accept default value "Y".

 

"Y" to include month to date totals

 

"N" to not include month to date totals.

 

[F3] to return to the previous field.

 

** INCLUDE YEAR TO DATE TOTALS ? (Y/N): Y

 

[Enter] to accept default value "Y".

 

"Y" to include year to date totals.

 

"N" to not include year to date totals.

 

[F3] to return to the previous field.

 

** INCLUDE PROJECT TO DATE TOTALS ? (Y/N): N

 

[Enter] to accept default value "N".

 

"Y" to include project to date totals.

 

"N" to not include project to date totals.

 

[F3] to return to the previous field.

 

** ENTER STARTING LAWYER (ENTER=1ST):

 

Enter lawyer/timekeeper code to begin.

 

[Enter] to begin with first lawyer on file.

 

[F3] to return to the previous field.

 

[F5] to display list of lawyer/timekeepers for selection.

 

** ENTER ENDING LAWYER (ENTER=LAST):

 

Enter lawyer/timekeeper code to end.

 

[Enter] to end with last lawyer on file.

 

[F3] to return to the previous field.

 

[F5] to display list of lawyer/timekeepers for selection.

 

** ONE PAGE PER LAWYER ? (Y/N): N

 

[Enter] to accept default value "N".

 

"Y" to print a separate page for each lawyer.

 

"N" to not print a separate page for each lawyer.

 

[F3] to return to the previous field.

 

** NUMBER OF COPIES ? (ENTER=ONE): 1

 

Enter number of copies to print.

 

[Enter] to print one copy.

 

[F3] to return to the previous field.

 

** PRESS ENTER TO CONTINUE:

 

[Enter] to continue to print selection menu.

 

[F3] to return to the previous field.

 

[F4] to exit to menu.
