CHANGING USER PASSWORDS
Typically, when users are added to the system they will be assigned a default password, typically it is the same as their user name.
See 29146 ADDING AND DELETING USERS.
Ideal software requires that the system supervisor change passwords. Users can not change their own passwords. It is very important that all new users select a password as soon as possible and notify the system supervisor so the new password can be implemented.
The procedure for changing user passwords is exactly the same as that described in the example above.
