AR5-21 Salesman Master Summary

 

PURPOSE

 

The salesman master summary report prints each salesperson's month to date and year to date profit information. Depending on your system configuration, the statistics are assigned to a salesman code based on either the customer's responsible salesperson or the salesperson who wrote up the sale. See your Ideal consultant for more information in this regard.

 

If you are printing this report for the month to date statistics, it should be printed at period end because the month to date information is cleared out during the A/R month end purge. If you are printing this report for the year to date statistics, it should be printed at the year end because the year to date information is cleared out during the A/R month end purge (when the year end option is specified).

 

The report can be printed at any time during the month, as often as needed. However, it is recommended that you include it in your month/year end routine to provide you with important sales and profit information. It may be bypassed if not required.

 

Salesman Master Summary Report is access from:

  • A/R Report and Month End menus

 

PROCEDURE

 

When you select Salesman Master Summary Report from the A/R Report or Month End menu the following prompts display.

 

** STORE CODE:

 

Enter the desired store code.

 

If a store code is specified, only salesman statistics that have been updated from invoices belonging to that store will be printed.

 

 

[Enter] for all stores.

 

** PRESS CR TO CONTINUE:

 

[Enter] to continue to print selection menu.

 

[F4] to exit to menu.

"1" to change printers.

 

"2" to change the CPI and/or print density.

 

[Enter] to print.

 

[F4] to not print and exit to the menu.

 

[F5] to display a list of printers for selection.
